re::compiling

We are currently working on a new website.
We could've left the old website online, but despite our
attempts to improve the presentation of our goals the
current website content is not representing what we are
working on.

We should be up and running in a couple of weeks again,
unless a change of server infrastructure gets in the way.
Check ng0's web log for updates on the web site work.

In the meantime, you could get excited about GNUnet working on
a new release number, 0.11, and work on the Guile bindings has
been picked up again, working towards GNUnet FS integration in Guix!

If you came here after this notice was put up:
We are a group of people working on a redistribution of GNU GuixSD
based on templating, named infotropique OS.
The high level goals are:

All of this is work in progress, and we are mostly involved in upstream
projects that will be represented in here (GNUnet, GNU Guix, secushare,...).

Chatroom

Some of us hang out on the #infotropique room on the chatserver psyced.org.
This is how you can connect:

If it is safe for you to use tor, you can also connect this way: Please note that some of these methods require you to create an account on the server.
You can get a log of previous conversations once you are connected by typing
"+hist" (or "/hist", depending on your client) followed by a number.
"+hist 25" will give you the last 25 lines people have written.
You can read the user manual in English and in German.
Replies may take a while, please be patient.
Please note that the server, psyced.org, while running a reasonable
secure system is sometimes attacked and might be down for hours or days.
If you experience problems with the server, and you have tried more than
one protocol (IRC instead of XMPP) to exclude issues on your side, use the
Mailinglist for communication.
